Medical Lab Assistant

This full-time program run in cooperation with Calgary Lab Services enables graduates to be eligible to write the CSMLS exam, MLA National Certification. Medical Laboratory Assistants find employment in hospitals, community health centres, and public or private clinical laboratories.

Personal Care Assistant

This full-time program prepares graduates to work as Personal Care Assistant in a variety of health care areas, including hospitals, nursing homes, group homes and home care. The applied Program includes classroom hours, practicum placements and home study hours with a focus on hands on learning.

Unit Clerk / Medical Office Assistant

This full-time program prepares graduates to work primarily as Unit Clerks and Medical Office Assistants. Students also will be provided skills training to enable the graduate to work as an Admitting Clerks and a Chart Management Clerk in a variety of health care areas including hospitals and nursing homes.

Veterinary Office Assistant - coming soon

If you want to work with animals, this may be the course for you. Take the VOA program and work in a veterinary office, boarding kennel, pet grooming facility and other pet related services. With courses ranging from Veterinary Software Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Products, this program prepares you for front line employment in animal care.

Zoo Keeper

Zookeeping is a hands-on profession. This program is designed to guide both entry-level and practicing zookeepers to awareness of the competencies, skills and attitudes expected of employees. These courses are designed to identify specific competencies the zookeeper should be able to identify, assess or perform.
