Educational and Physical Requirements
In order to work as a Health Care Aid in the province of Alberta, you must have graduated from a Government of Alberta Health Care Aide program. To enroll in the ABES Government of Alberta Health Care Aide Program in Calgary, you must have the following prerequisites:
Grade 10 Equivalency or Mature Student Status
Good English Comprehension (Gr. 10 or Equivalent)
Clear Security Clearance
Physical Ability to Carry Out the Work
Interview with Program Coordinator
