Detailed Course Outline – The Government of Alberta Health Care Aide Course in Calgary

This full-time program prepares graduates to work as Health Care Aides in a variety of health care areas, including hospitals, nursing homes, group homes, and home care. The program includes classroom hours, practicum placements and home study hours with a focus on hands-on learning.

Prerequisites

  • Grade 10 Equivalency or Mature Student Status
  • Good English Comprehension (Gr. 10 or Equivalent)
